According to the American Ambient Insight Report 2011, one of the growing learning trends is for 39% of organizations to already be making use of a mobile strategy.
Additionally they reported a growth rate of 29.3% among US corporations buying mobile learning, including the large ones, like IBM, Kraft and Pepsi.
Anywhere, anytime, learning with a mobile devices should another trend at all levels of school and college. I’m not saying we have to prepare students for work by “teaching how to use phones”. I am saying, the mobile devices should be seen as a valuable tool for learning, inside and outside of a formal school setting.
